The Somatic Dance Workshop offers a gentle yet empowering workout designed to help you:
- Transition from mental clutter to embodied awareness.
- Embrace self-care through grounding and intuitive movement.
- Strengthen your core and pelvic floor while fostering deeper body awareness.
- Grounding and Warm-Up: Begin with a grounding exercise and stretching to warm up your body, focusing on building core and pelvic floor strength.
- Guided Somatic Experience: Explore intuitive movement and find your rhythm through guided exercises.
- Weekly Theme: Each workshop incorporates a meaningful Torah idea from the weekly Parshah or an upcoming Yom Tov, setting the tone for the session.
- Intuitive Dancing and Journaling: Dance to a curated playlist that deepens the weekly theme, with reflective journal prompts to help integrate your experience.
- Group Sharing: Conclude with an opportunity to share insights and takeaways in a supportive group environment.
The workshop takes place every Thursday over zoom at 12:00 PM,
with an option to use the zoom call-in number.
Recordings of the workshops will be available following each class.
