How Ohel Miriam Came To Be
In 2014 Ohel Miriam began with one anonymous phone call to Mrs. Malka Touger asking her to educate and inspire the women on marital harmony and intimacy. Mrs. Malka Touger is a teacher and international lecturer. She has co-authored the book “The Secret To My Jewish Feminity”, the sefer that many kallas and married women find beneficial. We had advertised in 1 local publication and were hoping to have a handful of people. Unexpectedly over 350 women showed up at the lecture, including kalla teachers and guidance counselors. After the lecture we were inundated with phone calls. Upon seeing the great need Ohel Miriam was born. At this point we have database of over 2,000 contacts.
